W. H. Hulley Ladders – Guarantee and General Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to transactions on this website. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights. We may change these terms and conditions at any time.
You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until you click the Submit Order button. After you submit an order we provide an Order Reference Number and details of the products you have ordered in an e-mail (our first e-mail). When we have processed and despatched your order we will send a second email. This is also acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract between us will occur when we email advising you that your products will be delivered to you. (Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case our second email will tell you so).
Prices and Payment
Payments by Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Laser, Switch, and Diners Card are accepted and deducted when we process your order. We accept all major credit/debit cards, BACS payment, or alternatively we can fax you a pro-forma invoice and you can send us a Cheque through the post. Goods will be despatched upon clearance of cheques. Payments must be received before goods are despatched.
All prices and charges on our website are in UK pounds. They include any VAT payable and delivery charges. VAT Registration No. 172 7225 66.
Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If something becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative or a full refund.
Every effort is made to ensure that all information on this site is accurate, however, occasionally errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will tell you and ask you whether you wish to continue with your order or cancel it.
20% VAT is included on all website orders. VAT Registration No. 172 7225 66.
Credit Card Security
All credit card payments are processed by a third party company, First Data, via their own payment interface. None of your payment card details are stored on our systems.
Where We Deliver
Our Standard Delivery (included) must be to an address in the UK Mainland. Standard delivery is 7 – 10 working days normally, we will always try to notify you where delivery is expected to take longer than this. Surcharges will apply for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Anglesey, the Scilly Isles and parts of Scotland and the Scottish Isles). Please call us on 0114 272 1205 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm for a delivery price.
All deliveries must be signed for (except items sent by post and which are small enough to be put through your letterbox). Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.
Next day delivery is not guaranteed and is suitable for UK addresses with these exclusions: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly and other off-shore islands.

How we Deliver
Orders are generally delivered by courier. We will notify you via email regarding which delivery method we will use. Very occasionally different products in the same order may be delivered separately.
Standard postal and courier deliveries should arrive within 7-10 working days of placing your order (excluding Bank Holidays). If you order after 3.00pm, please calculate your delivery time as if your order had been placed the following working day.
Mobile Steps & Warehouse Steps
Please Note: Steel Mobile Steps are made to order and can take 7-15 working days from date of order. Warehouse Steps can take 7-10 working days. Please check all sizes carefully before ordering these steps.
IMPORTANT: We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified, however, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore they cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
If your item is out of stock, we can place it on back order for you. We will always contact you before doing this and you will have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tracking Your Order
Any request to leave parcels with a neighbour may be taken into account, however this cannot be guaranteed. If you ask for the parcel to be left without your signature W. H. Hulley will not be held responsible if the parcel goes missing when delivered.
You can track the progress of your order by logging in and then going to ‘My Account’. We will inform you if there are likely to be any unexpected delays.
Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive all your products, please check that they have been despatched by using our tracking facility (simply log in and then go to ‘My Account’). If your order is not en route to you, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 0114 272 1205. In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or faulty, please follow the instructions in our returns policy.

Care when ordering
Please ensure that you have checked all the sizes and information given before ordering as we cannot accept responsibility for incorrectly ordered goods.
We accept Purchase Orders from Local Authorities such as: Police, Hospitals, Schools & Colleges. Simply Fax: 0114 276 5621, Tel: 0114 272 1205 or email us at email@example.com with an Official Purchase Order.
All products come with a 12 month manufacturers warranty. Some products have longer guarantees where stated. Should any product develop a defect within the terms of this guarantee the faulty products will be exchanged or repaired free of charge. The faulty product should be returned to our premises together with the sales invoice issued at the time of purchase. This guarantee does not cover damage caused through accident, mis-use, neglect or failure to comply with recommendations. The terms of this guarantee do not and will not affect your statutory rights. NOTE: The modification of any product invalidates all warranties.
